The first level of Pa’ la Bodega is the bodeguita: a window with bars in the front of your house. Customers ask for something, you find it on the shelf, in the fridge or in the freezer, put it on the window ledge and charge for it. If you turn around, a hand comes through the bars.
Buy the houses next door and the store grows right there, on the same street, into El Abasto.
